I'm sure this is on everyone's mind

Why is Montana called "Big Sky Country"? How can the sky be that much bigger? Okay, I'm sure it's impressive compared to the sky above, say, midtown Manhattan. But it seems to me any state that is flat and undeveloped should have about the same sized sky above it.

If I were Oklahoma I'd be pissed about the Big Sky Country thing.
