It's good to be home

Or I assume it will be good to be home once the jetlag wears off.

Glad to see that Jiggs and Tasty have put up another animation. What people don't realize is that every second of animation takes 14 hours of backbreaking work.

So I spent the last week in Maui visiting my relatives for Thanksgiving. Pictures will follow after I figure out where the camera is. We were a little disoriented last night so I may have put it in the freezer. The holidays were good, we deep-fried two turkeys to accompany the traditional Hawaiian spread of ham, noodles, rice, and sushi. And I got to play "Which cousin are you?" The game is complicated because since I am (1) one of the youngest cousins in my generation and (2) descended from Hawaiian rednecks on my mom's side, I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 14 first cousins, 25 first cousins once removed (their kids), and 10 first cousins twice removed (their kids). First I try to guess the generation, then which of my aunties' kids/grandkids they are, then which of the kids running around belong to them. Then I give the hell up and ask my mom.
