You should learn one new thing every day...

And for me that thing was "Hybrid bikes (like mine) have much shorter stopping distances than road bikes (like the guy I was commuting to work with)."

Somewhere on the streets of Lexington I was setting the pace and realized we missed our turn. So I stopped to make sure I wasn't lost, and heard a yelp and a crunch as he barreled into my bike. We're both fine, and more importantly our bikes are fine.

So I've already filled my quota on learning things in a day. I figure this is reason enough to go home early.

I hope to bike home without incident. If not, I've been training myself to type posts using my tongue.

I live in Cambridge and work about 15 miles away. Lexington is mile 3ish.

"road warrior" games work better when you have battling crotch rockets, and i'm not talking about the motorcycle.

I think you're talking about an orgy in a Turkish bath, Jammer.

By bike, do you mean bicycle or motorcycle?

Bicycle. I'm not cool enough to ride a motorcycle. Maybe a Vespa.
