I done got tagged

Kendra tagged me. I am compelled to respond by the laws of the blog-o-sphere.

The rules:

1. Add a direct link to your post below the name of the person who tagged you. Include the city/state and country you’re in.

Nicole (Sydney, Australia)
velverse (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)
LB (San Giovanni in Marignano, Italy)
Selba (Jakarta, Indonesia)
Olivia (London, England)
ML (Utah, USA)
Lotus (Toronto, Canada)
tanabata (Saitama, Japan)
Andi (Dallas [ish], Texas, United States)
Todd (Louisville, Kentucky, United States)
miss kendra (los angeles, california, u.s.a)
Slappy (Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA)

2. List out your top 5 favorite places to eat at your location.

3. Tag 5 other people (preferably from other countries/states) and let them know they’ve been tagged.

Boston area food, huh? Let's see...

Emma's Pizza: Boston is world-renowned for greasy, flavorless pizza. Emma's is one of a couple spots in the greater metro area where you can get a thin, crispy crust and sauce with spices in it. It is ten pounds of awesome in a five pound sack.

Ginza: Very good Japanese food. Go to the Brookline one. A lot of Boston Japanese places do sushi well and everything else mediocre, but this one is all around awesome.

Abe and Louie's: Steak. Expensive. Tasty. If you are in Boston for grad school, you can afford to go once every three years, but it's worth it.

Spike's Junkyard Dogs: Dogs. Cheap. Tasty. Davis Square. I met the girl who holds the branch record for hot dogs eaten in 90 minutes. She's pretty cool, but amazingly tiny, like a white female version of Kobayashi.

Mike's Pastry: Where three cannoli = dinner.

And in Berkeley (see Jiggs's post above), the better place to get pizza is La Val's on the Northside. Blondie's is crap.

Who can I tag? I don't get very far in the blog-o-sphere... it's a large and frightening place. I tag Monkey, Carl, Lilly, Amera, and McDougal.

Velvet Universe: At least, that's what I assume your nickname is short for. Abe and Louie's is definitely worth it.

Nicole: They have Polaroids of them on the wall. It's sweet.

Kendra: Well, they've expanded out of Rhode Island to Boston... so they should be in LA sometime before 2050.

Amera: I'll shoot you an email.

la val's pizza tastes a lot like cardboard. While some people I know think it's edible, you are the only person I know that really likes it.
