Something I noticed

So when a pedestrian walks out into a crosswalk and an oncoming car slows down to let them cross, most people do the polite thing and wave, in order to say "Thank you car, for not running me over." But some people wave by thrusting out their hands like they're going to stop the car using the Force. Has anyone else noticed this Jedi Pedestrian Wave?

It is totally a Boston thing. I noticed it last time we were down there and was quite impressed. I think your pedestrians are a distrustful lot, and rightfully so!

Lee Ann: You're right. It is rude. And that's why Jamwall and Chewie run those people over.

Monkey: Thank you for being my Confirmer. For a while there I thought it was all in my head.
