Food memories

I was eating a bag of Baked Lays and I started thinking about O'Boises. They were dehydrated potato crisps like Pringles, but they came in potato chip shape rather than stacked saddles. The best part was that on the bag it bragged that they were made with "Real Potato Bits"

And I just want to say that I'm still annoyed at M&M/Mars for discontinuing the PB Max. It was a graham cracker with a half inch thick layer of real peanut butter (not like a Reese's cup, like Jif) and covered in a thick layer of milk chocolate. It was fantastic. I worked there for a couple months in grad school and tried to get them to start making it again, but to no avail.

Any votes on food products you'd like to see return?

Oh, totally. In my old house we use to have this handle-like thing in the kitchen. You turned it, and a really yummy, cool, clear liquid came out. It was the best!!! Now I can't get that anymore; it only comes in bottles.

But I agree with SG. I grew up drinking well water and I'm fine...right?

I miss Brilliant Vodka. It was so smooth, I used to drink it on the rocks. Now I can't find it anymore and I end up drinking disgusting perfumed vodkas like Grey Goose, Ketel One or Zyr. Fucking bastards.

Spinner: Uhhh.... what?

Rich: It's made of people! Get your hands of me you damned dirty ape! You maniacs! You blew it up!

Sorry, got on the wrong Chuck Heston dystopian futuristic sci-fi.

Kat: Oh... well water. That's usually fine, as long as you don't live near a mine or agricultural runoff. We were camping once and the water had a bunch of sulfur - smelled like rotten eggs. Ugh.

Nick: Follow the mythbusters. Try filtering cheap vodka through a Brita. I think 6 passes made it pretty close to top shelf quality.

I had a baked lay once.

It was pretty different from what you describe.

There was a saddle involved, though.

Tater skins have got baked potato appeal

Cause they're made from potatoes and skins that are real!

I didn't like Tater Skins. I just remember jingles.

This sandwich shop 'round the way used to make a mayonnaise shake. Fucking anti-saturated fats lobbies put an end to that though.

Bastards.

Kendra: Should I send you some chowder?

Kat: Mmmm, sulphur.

Spinner: Baked Lays products are very different - especially baked doritos. But tasty in their own right.

Tasty: Oboisterous indeed.

Uber: I remember tater skins, but not the jingle. Weird.

FoM: The McDonalds Shamrock Shake is 60% mayonnaise.
