This excites me because I'm nerd like that. I went to Space Camp twice when I was a kid, and I'm seroiusly considering going back for adult camp.
Anyway, I'm going to NASA Ames today to watch the launch. If you don't happen to live near a NASA facility, you can watch the live coverage here.
Enjoy!

Booty, I think that is cool!
When I lived in Boca Raton (South Florida), I could actually see it from my front yard shortly after it took off once.
I was not near enough to hear it, but I have heard that is amazing and the ground trembles for miles.
Space camp kicks it!
Last summer I watched the shuttle go up from New Smyrna beach. It was awesome.
This blog is so educational!
i guess it's delayed til tomorrow.
its jiggsy boy the science goy!
(sorry, that's all i had that would rhyme with "boy")
Lee Ann: That is awsome. I've always wanted to see a live shuttle launch. The closest I've been is a MAin engine test firing.
SG: Space Camp was cool. I met a girl there. That made it even better.
Brooke: We do our best to contribute back to society.
Tasty: Yep. And it was just delayed again till July 4th.
Jamwall: The ironic thing here is that I am the one who posted this, and I'm the one non-goy in the bunch!
all you jiggsblog people look the same.
This one time at Space camp....
