History of the day for March 21

In 1647, the Protestants and the Catholics declared the end of the 29-Years War, agreeing to sign the peace-accords at Dayton, Ohio, in a conference mediated by President Clinton. However, at the signing, Cardinal Pepe LePeu of France accidentally called Baron Steinstein of the Holy Roman Empire "an evil, God-forsaken heretic to be doomed to eternal perdition in the cruel pits of Hell." Fighting ensued for another year.
