You're right Calzone. While I might have the market cornered on gravitas, Monkey has the market cornered on people reading his blog.
One thing I've noticed from our counter is that quite a few people visit but never comment on the blog. I wonder if this has to do with my gravitas...

Jiggs... I don't know if it's your Gravitas or the intimidation factor of the accumulated intellect here at Jiggsblog.
At Monkey's blog, we have no intellect, and yet, we too notice that only 1/4 of our visitors comment. We like to call it the "stalker factor".
I'm fairly certain that the accumulated intellect at your blog monkey rivals, nay, surpasses the accumulated intellect here at jiggsblog.
And I just looked at the count of unique visitors to the blog for today and only about 10% of the people that come to the blog comment. And that includes jiggsblog contributors.
Perhaps people are nervous about commenting on a blog that welcomes monkeys, dragons and brain eating presidential candidates?
I know what's intimidating people. The size of my massive gravitas! My gravitas is so deep and so penetrating. My gravitas is inspiring. I love my gravitas; every day if possible.
