Soylent Collagen is made of people!

Apparently a Chinese cosmetics company is using skin harvested from corpses and aborted fetuses to make collagen. According to the story:

"The [undercover] agents say some of the company's products have been exported to the UK, and that the use of skin from condemned convicts is 'traditional' and nothing to 'make such a big fuss about'," the daily alleged.

Our world has turned into the plot for soylent green, only way more shallow. We're not making food out of the dead, but rather skin injections. But hey, no biggie.

IT'S PEOPLE! PEOPLE!

I don't know.

However, Alton Brown was just talking last night about how important collagen is to making a good soup stock.

Campbell's should start making a people soup called 'Cannibal Campbell's'.

Hungry? Have a can of Cannibal Campbell's. It's like having a whole other person inside you...mmm,mmm...good

I like the Cannibal Campbell's idea. The marketing writes itself: All of the flavor of eating an entire human being, but only 200 calories and 1 gram of fat.

word ver: totdwi, which is obviously Totally Driving While Intoxicated.
