The Korean War is certainly the funniest of all US Wars

Now if we consider all armed conflicts, and not just wars, then Grenada wins hands down. I don't even know where Grenada is.

Is Grenada where grenadine comes from?

No way. War of 1812. The Brits decided to give in to our demands, but the message got to the States too late, so we had already declared war. We invaded Canada just for shits and giggles, and the biggest battle (New Orleans) was fought a month after the war ended. Again, the news of the peace treaty reached New Orleans too late.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. The Korean War was so funny that they made a whole sitcom out of it.

Oh that Hawkeye. So funny.

There's never been a sitcom about the war of 1812, and if there was, I bet it would suck!

Your face likes the Korean War.

Wait, did I use that right?

French Indian War.

Slappy, you used it right. and McDougal, I don't think the French Indian war counts because it predates the formation of the United States. I mean if we're going to go there, I would say the 100 years war is the funniest war in history.

Thirty Years War. Had as much funny as the Hundred Years War, but packed into one third the time. It was truly ten pounds of funny in a five pound sack. Or three pound sack.

Whatever.

Falklands?

My old Pal McDougal lost a toe in the Falklands conflict, so it's not funny to me.

Too bad Panama can't be included. Because that shit was FLAT OUT FUNNY.

For real, dog.

Panama was a police action, Korea was technically a... what was it? Peacekeeping? It was some U.N. mission all the way, so I think Panama should count. Good call, FoMcD. We will invade you and play loud rock music until you give us your president!

Word ver: canckio, which is of course Sanrio's cute and cuddly Hello Kitty-ish character based on a a canker sore.

For my money, the Falklands was always the funniest. But if we're talking U.S. conflicts only then I would have to say Afghanistan. Oh what a merry chase that was! When the dude... hid... in the... cave... (oh my sides!) and then... he made a TV show... and broadcast it? To tell everyone?? (weeeez)... "na na na boo boo, you can't catch me".

Oh my... I pissed myself.

A friend of mine had her headphones on, and so I asked her what she was listening to. She said she was listening to Noriega. I immediately thought she was listening to Noriega's famous speeches or perhaps his autobiography "Noriega on Noriega" on tape.

But no. There is a rapper with the name "Noriega".

This of course, might be the most evidence that Panama really is the funniest.

Thus I've become a Panamaniac.

Wait for it... I just wet myself.

No, I'm sorry, the Falkland Islands War was the funniest without a sitcom...no one died and it is known "the most important amphibious operation since WWII"....

...damn, who knew dem frogs hadn't performed surgery since WWII?;)

Calzone, it's your iternet provider that makes it look like you're in Gray.

SouthernSpeak: Frogs are well known for their healing powers. Where are you getting your information from? The wikipedia?

Jiggity Jiggs...yup, I got that little amphibious clip from Wiki-Waki, but the Falkland Islands War was a school joke at the time because there wasn't much in the way of news at the time, and the butt of a few SNL skits, but I didn't remember much about it.

Actually, reading about it a bit now, I'm sure it was a pretty big deal to both governments, and probably wasn't very funny at all...but can I help it if I giggle at the amphibious snippet?

I enjoyed your oh-so-subtle post to Ms. Pants...I was thinking along the lines of carving a body part and asking her to guess which one would be big fun...or you could always pull a Vincent Vangogh...

As SouthernSpeak points out:

Wikipedia = Wackipedia.

My word verification is "agetz" which clearly is referring to someone related to stan getz.
